Unlike traditional counselling, with Hypnotherapy we can reach the subconscious level of your mind, where many deep-seated beliefs, emotions, and behaviours are stored. Many of my clients’ issues—including (but not limited to) anxiety, long-term ingrained habits, phobias, addictions, or limiting beliefs - have their roots in the subconscious.
Hypnotherapy temporarily changes the frequency of your brain waves, opening the firewall of your frontal lobe and engaging with the subconscious, so I can help you to unlearn old habits—even things you learned as a child.
This is why Hypnotherapy is particularly effective for changing ingrained habits and behaviours, helping people with all kinds of emotional or psychological issues, including managing anxiety, becoming a non-smoker, losing weight, or overcoming specific habits or addictions.
Hypnotherapy produces quicker results compared to traditional counselling, and is not set up to be an ongoing commitment.

WHAT IS NLP?
NLP, or neurolinguistic programming, is the ideal therapeutic partner for hypnotherapy and I offer them together in my sessions, depending on your needs.
NLP encompasses a range of approaches, but always in a conscious state, focusing on changing your thought processes to smash through pre-existing ideas and ultimately modify any unwanted behaviour. I help you to reframe your thoughts through a range of processes, so that you can be free from limiting beliefs and achieve your goals.
Like Hypnotherapy, NLP can produce rapid changes in behaviour and thinking patterns, making it well-suited for individuals who are ready to make lasting change quickly, like becoming a non-smoker, controlling anxiety, or managing your weight.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR HYPNOTHERAPY AND NLP APPOINTMENT (ONLINE OR IN-PERSON IN ALBURY)
I always offer a 20-minute no-obligation call, so we can get to know each other before you book in. I want you to feel comfortable, safe, and secure to open up with me.
My sessions are longer than normal sessions. This is because I never want you to feel rushed, and I will never leave you in an emotional place where you are not comfortable, just because the time is up. This allows us to have plenty of space to resolve any issues that may arise for you, so you feel calm and in control after our session.
First, we talk about what you want to achieve, and I listen to you and help you to find the answers you need. We get a clear understanding of where you are and what we need to address.
Then it’s time for treatment part of the session, a combination of NLP (conscious) and hypnotherapy (subconscious). You will remain in control at all times, just experiencing a deep sense of relaxation.
By the end of this session, I will let you know how many more sessions you might need, but the average is between three and six. I will always be honest with you.
